Everyone has their own unique reasons for starting to play the piano. I myself started playing somewhat casually, but now it has become a treasured possession that enriches my life. I hope that the piano can be a presence that gently brightens your daily life.
In our lessons, we cherish the joy of sharing the beauty of musical pieces and carefully help you build the foundation for playing freely in the future. We strive to provide warm and sincere lessons that are tailored to each individual's pace.

When you get stuck in practice
I sometimes take a break from the piano and refresh myself by going for a walk or eating something delicious (laughs). Strangely enough, I feel like I often do better when I sit down at the piano after getting some fresh air.

Things I usually enjoy besides playing the piano
I enjoy looking at beautiful scenery and paintings, and reading. I also listen to music other than piano. I like to spend peaceful time drinking coffee ☕️

The piano has the charm of being able to express a variety of feelings that cannot be conveyed in words through sound. While valuing the fundamentals, I hope that you will feel the joy of playing and the fun of music, and that I can create an opportunity for the piano to become a part of your life. I am sincerely looking forward to meeting you all.

Favorite composer
Schumann, Chopin, and Beethoven♪

Aside from music
I love comedy. I've loved watching comedy on TV since I was a child, and since moving to Tokyo for university, I've been able to go to comedy shows, and laughing and getting energized is something I look forward to every day!

I hope that everyone who comes to learn from me will enjoy joyful days filled with music!

How I started playing the piano
There's a piano studio on the way to kindergarten, and I was always intrigued by the beautiful music I heard there.

I believe that playing the piano not only brings the joy of being able to play, but also cultivates the pleasure of self-expression and a love for music.
In our lessons, we cherish the small successes of each student, guiding them at their own pace. We strive to create a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment where students feel motivated to continue. We hope that through music, we can brighten our students' everyday lives, even just a little!

Songs I liked as a child
When I was a child, I loved Yoshinao Nakata's "Etude Allegro." I enjoyed the glissando at the end, and it's a memorable piece for me because it made me think, "Wow, there are songs that are this exciting!"

How I started playing the piano
I started playing the piano at the age of four, inspired by my mother's piano playing. I still play duets with my mother sometimes, and I'm happy to be able to share time with my family through music.

I believe music is a precious time for nurturing the heart. I will carefully instruct each student while cherishing their individuality. I will help them build on the joy of "I did it!" and make music a lifelong treasure. I offer both piano and flute lessons!

I love watching soccer! I'm such a big soccer fan that I go to every home game of my favorite team ⚽️

How I started playing the piano
As a child, I was captivated by the jazz piano music I could hear through the window of my neighbor's house, and when we moved, I received the CD and started playing the piano!

Professor Mami Mori

Learning the piano brings many joyful moments: when you learn a new note, when you can read sheet music more easily than before, when you can play your favorite song. I strive to provide careful, personalized instruction so that we can share these enjoyable times together. Please feel free to come and visit us!

A memorable song from the recital
Debussy's "Golliwog's Cakewalk" and Shigeaki Saegusa's "The Sadness of the Blue-Eyed Rabbit." These two pieces were played together when I was in elementary school. I preferred the lighthearted and fun "Golliwog," but I remember being surprised when my friends liked "The Sadness of the Blue-Eyed Rabbit" more when I played it for them. Now I love both pieces! ✨

Other favorite instruments besides the piano
I love the French horn, oboe, and cello! I played the French horn in the brass band when I was in middle school. I love the warm, resonant sound of the oboe, and the way the cello's sometimes sweet, sometimes powerful low notes resonate in my heart!

What inspired me to start playing the piano?
I became fascinated by classical music playing on the radio and started playing the piano.

Favorite country
I love Italy, where I studied abroad 🇮🇹 Everything I see, from the scenery to the delicious Italian food and music, is just amazing. No matter how old I get, I want to go back and study there again and again!

Personal motto
"There has never been a case where utmost sincerity failed to move anyone."
