Miori Takano
MIORI TAKANO

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture. After graduating from the piano course at Showa University of Music Junior College, she transferred to and graduated from the piano performance course at the same university. She also completed her Master's degree in piano at the Graduate School of Music, Showa University of Music.
While enrolled, she performed in numerous recommended concerts, both as a soloist and in ensembles, including the "SHOWA Fresh Artist Concert 2016" and the "17th Electronic Organ Piano Concerto Concert." For overseas training, she participated in masterclasses with C. Guaitri in Italy in 2017 and 2019.
After graduating from graduate school, she pursued a career in performing, including passing the audition for the 77th Tokyo International Association of Arts Newcomer Concert, while also dedicating herself to teaching. She obtained certification as a beginner-level instructor from the Eurhythmics Research Center and teaches a wide range of students, from preschoolers to adults, at her piano studio. She has received the PTNA Newcomer Instructor Award, the Instructor Award, and the Burgmüller Lesson Award.
She has previously studied piano with Yasuko Fukuda, Ritsuko Watanabe, and Yoko Asai, chamber music with Eri Ishibashi, and opera accompaniment with Naoko Asano and Risa Takashima. She is currently studying with Katsushige Sato.
