Q&A
Q. Can I reschedule my lesson?
A. We have a make-up lesson system!
If you notify us of your absence at least three days in advance, we will arrange a make-up lesson for the following month at a time that is convenient for your assigned instructor. In the event that a lesson is unavoidably canceled due to the instructor's circumstances, or if the school determines that it is difficult to conduct the lesson due to a typhoon, heavy snow, heavy rain warning, earthquake, or other disaster, we will provide a make-up lesson or a lesson with a substitute instructor.
Q. Can I add more lessons?
A. You can add lessons as needed!
You can add extra lessons to your regular schedule, especially during months when you want to focus on your studies or before important events like competitions. Please consult with your instructor. Additional lessons must be paid for in cash. Detailed pricing will be explained after you enroll.
Q. I don't have an instrument. Can I still take a trial lesson?
A. Yes, it's possible. Let's try it out!
Even if you don't own an instrument, we recommend starting lessons. You'll discover the joy of playing an instrument once you try it! Afterwards, you can then consider whether or not to bring an instrument into your home.
Q. Can parents observe the lessons?
A. Of course it's possible!
You are welcome to observe the lesson at your leisure in the classroom. While parental attendance is not mandatory, we encourage you to keep an eye on your child and communicate regularly with the teacher, as this will contribute to a better music learning experience.
Q. Can I start even in the middle of the month?
A. Of course it's possible!
After your trial lesson, you can discuss with your instructor how many lessons you'd like to take in the month you enroll, and you can start by paying only for the number of lessons you wish to take.
Q. Will there be a recital?
A. We hold a recital in a large hall about once a year.
Performing on stage brings a great sense of accomplishment and growth. Having a goal makes for a more fulfilling music learning experience. We also have various in-classroom events; participation in all of them is optional.
The next event will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2027 at the Kitansenju Tenku Theater Hall.
