Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Began playing piano at the age of 4. Graduated from Sapporo Otani High School Music Department and Tokyo College of Music, and completed a Master's program at Showa University of Music Graduate School.
I published my master's thesis, "A Study on Prokofiev's Piano Solo Piece 'Ten Pieces from the Ballet "Romeo and Juliet," Op. 75: A Comparison with the Ballet Version Op. 64 and the Orchestral Version (Suite No. 1 Op. 64bis and Suite No. 2 Op. 64ter)."
She won second prize and the Henle Prize at the 2020 Salzburg-Mozart International Chamber Music Competition. The following year, she held a winners' recital at the Yamaha Ginza Salon Hall. She won the Grand Prix in the piano solo division of the 2021 Hama no Kaze Competition. She won the Grand Prize and the Audience Award at the 8th Showa University of Music Ensemble Competition. She performed Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 12 with the Arts Chamber Orchestra. In 2024, she performed Debussy's Piano Trio with Warsaw Philharmonic concertmaster Piotr Cegielski (violin) and Robert Butowski (cello) at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan.
She has studied piano with Setsuko Suzuki, Taeko Tanahashi, Keiko Miura, Junko Inada, Fumiko Eguchi, and Atsushi Mitani. She studied chamber music with Mari Watanabe. In Italy, she took lessons from M. Ferrati and C. Guaitri. At the Arts International Music Seminar in Nakasatsunai Village, Hokkaido, she performed Beethoven's Cello Sonatas No. 1 and No. 2 with Uwe Hirs-Schmidt (cello).
Currently, she is a research fellow specializing in accompaniment for string, wind, and percussion instruments at Showa University of Music and Junior College.
They perform as Torio Amaretto, a trio consisting of wind instruments, strings, and piano.
